All About Me

Hi! My name is Suki DiGrande. This is my 15th year teaching in the Colchester School District. Before teaching 6th grade at CMS, I taught 5th grade at Malletts Bay School for many years. Before moving to Vermont, I taught in Texas and Colorado. I've also taught skiing, water fitness classes, and an introductory seminar class for the graduate education program at SNHU. My family includes my husband, and my two sons, Eli and Ben. Eli is a senior at St. Michael's College where he plays basketball. Ben is a Freshman at Montana State University. My husband and I spend a lot of time watching our kids play sports, and we love it! I also have an adorable dog named Jackson!

I love to do anything outdoors, but especially hiking, biking, camping, skiing, and running. My favorite type of running is trail running, which I do a lot of in the summer! I also love to read!

And last, but not least...I love my job teaching! My goal for this year is to inspire my students to love to learn! I want them to feel curious, safe, and happy, while I help them reach their fullest potential!
